What a timestamp can show
A cryptographic timestamp or hash record may provide evidence that particular data or a digest existed in a given technical context at or before a recorded time. It does not by itself prove authorship, identity, ownership, truth of the underlying content, legal validity, authority to sign, or admissibility in a particular proceeding.
Third-party and legal requirements
Where a workflow requires qualified electronic timestamps, qualified signatures, notarisation, regulated retention or other prescribed trust services, users must use the legally required provider/process and verify the exact jurisdictional requirements.
Acceptable use
You must not use ChronoSeal material or records to fabricate evidence, misstate authorship or ownership, impersonate another person, bypass authorization, or falsely claim notarisation, certification or regulatory recognition.
