Core boundary: a hash/timestamp can support integrity and existence evidence within its technical scope. It does not automatically prove who created or signed a record, that its contents are true, or that a court/regulator will accept it for a particular legal purpose.

No qualified timestamp claim

ChronoSeal is not currently represented as an EU eIDAS qualified electronic timestamp service, UK qualified trust service, notarial service, certification authority or equivalent regulated trust service.

No automatic notarisation or legal validity

Sealing a document does not notarise it, validate a contract, establish legal title, authenticate a person, create a government record or guarantee evidentiary admissibility.

Evidence-chain dependencies

Strong evidentiary value may depend on source identity, authorization, protected signing keys, trusted time source, cryptographic algorithm/parameter choices, record retention, revocation/status information, chain-of-custody controls and a documented verification procedure.

No absolute immutability

“Immutable” is used only as an architectural objective for tamper-evident/append-only records within stated systems. No claim of absolute, everlasting or unbreakable integrity is made.
